Introducing Pinstripe Revival

I'm thrilled to announce a new project exclusive to this Substack community – Pinstripe Revival, a gothic science fiction serial that reimagines Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher." This monthly serial will explore themes of decay, technology, and the price of playing god, set against the backdrop of a familial estate out of touch with the modern world.
Each installment will be a chapter crafted specifically for this platform. I'm incredibly excited about this format – it allows me to craft a story that unfolds with deliberate pacing while giving me the flexibility to respond to reader feedback and let the narrative evolve organically. I plan to drop the first chapter in just a few week!
Synopsis:
In a future free of illness and sculpted by ubiquitous genetic optimization, Kai Darcy occupies a precarious niche as a Boundary Technician for the Catamore Biosphere Reserve—a hermetically sealed anomaly housing Earth's last unmodified ecosystem and its final natural-born humans, the Catamore family. When a critical systems failure along the Reserve's perimeter forces Kai to work and live within the sanctuary's untamed heart, strange events and even stranger secrets are revealed about the Catamore dynasty.
